The Priory Maze and Gardens contain one of the most enchanting gardens in Norfolk
Set within 10 acres, the Priory Maze and Gardens consists of various themed gardens and the hedge maze. This family-friendly attraction is home to pheasants, woodcocks, snipes, kingfishers and goldcrests. It has also had waxwing, firecrest, crossbill and tree creeper visitors.
You can sit on the numerous benches through the gardens and relax, take in the view of the backdrop of the Beeston Bump cliffs, watch dragonflies and butterflies go by across ponds and streams, or listen to the gentle waterfalls in the meadow stream garden against the dramatic ruins of nearby Beeston Regis Priory.
The Beeston Regis Priory (St. Mary’s) remains are located very close to the grounds of the Priory Maze and Gardens. You will be able to see the remains of the gable end clearly from the meadow stream areas of the attraction. The design and size of the Priory Maze is inspired by the ruins.
There is a plant centre, gift cabin and a cosy cafe.
