Things to do in Cromer

Cromer Beach

Cromer is a traditional Victorian seaside resort with a sand and shingle beach

The sand and shingle beach of Cromer is popular for swimming and surfing. When the tide is out, there are amazing stretches of lovely sand providing plenty of room to play on, walk about and build sandcastles. During the summer, the beach is patrolled by lifeguards. There are dog restrictions in the summer months.

If you want to get away from the summer crowds who flock to Cromer, walk eastwards or westwards away from the Pier and you can reach East and West Runton or the Overstrand and enjoy the big skies and open beaches. Depending on the time of the day (and your luck), you might catch sight of fishermen returning with the catch of the day.
